HomeSight
has been repairing the economic fabric of the quilt it calls
“community” for over a
decade. Beginning in 1992 with a
modest construction goal of 50 homes, today the agency is still building.
334 homes later, HomeSight’s community development impact is more than $40 Million.
While 2004 marked the highest volume construction year with 69 homes under
construction, we're excited to announce 2006 will supersede 2004 with
over 100 homes under construction!
Innovations include building, selling & financing these homes,
construction of the Pacific Northwest’s first 2-story manufactured
single-family home, design and construction of the U.S.’s first-ever
zero-lot line 2-story
manufactured townhomes. Key to HomeSight's mission of
Community Revitalization is to create and build homes that are both
affordable for the first-time home buyer and an attractive asset to the
neighborhood. The majority of HomeSight's
developments have been built on dilapidated or vacant properties.
Construction on these sites has helped transform underutilized urban areas
into vibrant, active communities.
