Patty Cokus

Executive Assistant

Patty assists the Executive Director and serves as a liaison to the Boards of Directors. Originally from New York, Patty moved to Seattle in 2000 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in small metals and worked as a professional artist. Most of her free time is spent hiking, backpacking, scrambling, and climbing in the Cascades with her husband and Vizsla pup.

Sarah Valenta

Director of Community & Business Development

With over 15 years of economic development experience, Sarah drives community & economic development resources to southeast Seattle with the goal of staunching displacement. Under Sarah’s leadership, HomeSight’s signature event, Plate of Nations, grew from a single-neighborhood event generating $10k to a regional event bringing $350k in revenue to eight business districts. Sarah enjoys gardening with her puppy, Riley.

Tammie Anders

Director of Finance

As head of finance, Tammie leads a team that manages more than $68M in assets and approximately $8M in federal grant funding. She oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, treasury management, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and compliance with federal and state regulations.

Scott Kim

Portfolio Director

Scott brings a corporate and credit union banking background to his role overseeing HomeSight’s loan portfolio, including the revolving loan fund. In addition to managing investor contracts and the revolving loan fund, Scott develops and augments new and innovative lending programs for first-time homebuyer lending programs. These include the Community Lift loan, the VISTA (ITIN) loan, and the Equitable Recovery Program. A resident of south Seattle for 15 years, Scott enjoys golf, traveling, and trying new restaurants with his fiancé.

Kai Senwosret

Director of Resource Development

As HomeSight’s Director of Resource Development, Kai leads HomeSight’s fundraising efforts, working closely with the executive director and board to build the relationships and resources that sustain HomeSight’s mission. Kai has increased individual giving year over year and created a culture of philanthropy across the organization. Before working at HomeSight, Kai held nonprofit and education leadership roles around the country, helping organizations secure funding and build programs that support children, families, and communities. Outside of work, Kai is happiest with her family or trying another baking recipe in the kitchen.

Whitley Tucker

Director of HR Strategy & Operations

Whitley supports HomeSight’s mission by supporting its people. She brings 25 years of non-profit leadership experience in LGBTQ+ advocacy, community mental health, emergency and supportive housing, senior services, and community development to her role. At HomeSight, Whitley is fostering a positive and enriching workplace culture with such initiatives as the employee recognition program and people management training series. As a social worker turned HR professional, she seeks to ensure that both individuals and organizations are healthy and thriving. Outside of work, Whitley loves spending time with her son and enjoying the arts, culture, and nature of the Puget Sound area. 

Moussa Samb

Director of Lending Partnerships

Bringing over two decades of experience across retail banking, investment services, and mortgage lending, Moussa came to HomeSight to lead the Homeownership Center. In that role, he successfully led the lending and counseling divisions with a focus on service excellence. Now, as HomeSight’s Director of Lending Partnerships, Moussa cultivates strategic alliances between HomeSight, government agencies, and key stakeholders to advance affordable housing initiatives. Guided by a steadfast commitment to socio-economic equity, Moussa designs innovative partnership and programmatic solutions that empower culturally diverse communities. Moussa holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in nonprofit leadership.

Uche Okezie

Director of Real Estate Development

Uche, a first-generation Nigerian immigrant, has worked in real estate for HomeSight for over 20 years. The department she leads has developed over 470 affordable for-sale homes ranging from single-family units to town homes and condominiums, adding critically needed affordable housing stock, strengthening the community’s economic base, and mitigating the consequences of gentrification. Uche’s most memorable project was HomeSight’s Cokofi condominium development, the first project she managed from inception to completion. Uche is a longtime Liverpool Football Club supporter and enjoys playing cribbage and watching Formula 1 racing.

Erica Rimlinger

Director of Communications and Marketing

Erica was scolded throughout her childhood to stop telling stories. Nevertheless, she persisted. An award-winning writer and editor, she is passionate about transforming complex issues into clear, compelling stories that inspire action and help HomeSight clients reach their goals. She has spent her three-year tenure at HomeSight helping the organization increase visibility, engage stakeholders, and drive organizational growth. An avid hiker and backpacker, Erica spends her weekends in the mountains as often as possible.

Todd Reese

Director of the Homeownershp Center

Todd leads the homeownership center at HomeSight, a department that includes home lending, servicing and homebuyer education. With nearly 20 years of experience in consumer lending and financial services, Todd has improved team efficiency through automation processes that enable HomeSight to serve clients better. Todd loves traveling and has visited over 80 countries.
